Gardening & Odd Job Working Bee
Everyone is to bring along their own tools, gloves, buckets, H&S requirements and anything else you normally use in the garden. Don’t come empty handed if you plan to work in the garden!
The aim is to weed the gardens and trim the bushes and trees around the clubhouse and car park and spread some bark.
Other work may involve weedspraying, cleaning of shelves and dishes in the kitchen, clearing of gutters on the red shed, toilet block & clubhouse (Blair), cleaning of clubhouse windows (Allan), waterblasting of ramps (Frank), oiling the tables and seating in the BBQ area, the flagpole seat and the one by the clubhouse, cleaning the BBQ, etc.
All tree trimmings will be stacked as directed by Pete in the ‘coned’ public area for later chipping. All gardening refuge will be collected by the tractor & trailer for disposal (Pete)
To give you something to work towards, morning tea will be provided. – Tea, coffee, scones with jam & cream, spaghetti mousetraps etc.
Other more involved repairs, maintenance and improvements involving painting or multi-day projects will be undertaken at other times during the year as arranged.
This is a great chance to assist the club and beautify the surroundings.
Hope to see you there.
In the event of inclement weather, advice will appear on our Facebook page and our Website by 0830 hrs.
