The OYC Christmas Celebration kicked off with a flotilla of yachts, launches and RIB’s making their way to the PCYC where a BBQ lunch was enjoyed by all. Thanks goes to Owen & Lesley for their efforts in making this a success. Next the flotilla headed back via the eastern channel round the various bays. The weather disrupted further in and on water activity as the thunder rolled, the lightning flashed and the rain pelted down. Everyone assembled back at the club by 1630 where soon after Santa arrived and dished out an array of gifts and treats to the kids and everyone else. This was followed by a Christmas dinner from BBQ Bill of spit roasted pork, chicken, new potatoes, vegetables and salads and finished off with a dessert of pavlova, fruit salad and ice cream.
